Mincemeat is traditionally made in advance and stored in sterilised air-tight jars but I this recipe is just as good and read to use immeadiately.

Mixed Peel
finely chopped

Brandy

one fresh Lemon

teaspoon
Ground Allspice
A Large

Nutmeg
freshly grated
Method
Place all of the ingredients together in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Cover with cling film and leave for two hours.
Mix again and store in an air-tight container in the bottom of your fridge.
